Samantha leads a professional services team supporting clients with their adoption and roll-out of legal technology solutions. With over 15 years of legal industry experience working in private practice across multiple jurisdictions, as a proposition manager, Samantha also supports our internal go-to market teams to drive growth of revenue and sales for Thomson Reuters’ software solutions across Asia and Emerging Markets.
Omar has worked at Thomson Reuters since March 2018. He works as a Legal Solutions Advisor on HighQ and Legal Tracker, covering the ASEAN region. Due to his legal background and insights into how law firms and corporate legal departments are run, he is acutely aware of the day-to-day challenges that professionals in the industry face. He advises on how technology can be adopted to enhance business operations and improve productivity.
Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Omar completed his LLB (2009) and LPC (2013) at the University of Manchester and the University of Law respectively. Since then, he has worked as a paralegal in London, Dubai and Abu Dhabi; both in private practice and in-house.
Peggy is currently Haleon’s Head of Legal, Wider Asia Region. Haleon is a consumer healthcare company listed on the NY and London Stock Exchange and was formed when the consumer healthcare division of GSK (GlaxoSmithKline) demerged from GSK in July 2022. In her current role, she oversees the legal support to Haleon’s business and operations in Wider Asia (ANZ, India-Subcontinent, Japan, Korea, South East Asia, and Taiwan) from R&D to manufacturing to marketing and sales activities.
Peggy joined GSK in 2006 as Legal Counsel of GSK Pharmaceuticals business (South East Asia, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka). Over the years she held various other positions providing and overseeing legal support for GSK Asia Pacific Vaccines business, GSK Asia regional headquarter, GSK global nutritionals and systemic pain category, and also served on GSK’s Legal Digital Centre of Excellence. Peggy is an alumnus of GSK’s Asia Leadership (Emerging Leaders) Program. Prior to GSK, she was Asia regional counsel with an European oil and gas company and also spent about 8 years in private practise at a local law firm before moving to her in-house roles.
Adeline Chin is a legal knowledge management consultant and legaltech evangelist. She founded 3 legal related companies and aims to help the legal profession find happiness. Adeline is a member of the AIAC Tech Expert Committee and is the current Co-Chairperson of the Asia-Pacific Legal Innovation and Technology Association (ALITA).
Thomas is a Solutions Consultant with the Thomson Reuters Legal Solutions team, where he works with law firms and in-house legal departments to streamline their processes through the use of HighQ and Legal Tracker. He has experience across several areas of the legal industry, having worked in legal tech companies as well as in law firms, both as a lawyer and in the business development team.
BRIAN W TANG is an innovator, ecosystem builder and educator at the confluence of law, technology, finance and social impact who has held senior leadership roles across three continents in global investment banking, international law firms and now a leading university. Brian was named by Asia Legal Portal as One of the 30 People to Watch in the Business of Law in 2022.
Brian is co-chair of Asia-Pacific Legal Innovation and Technology Association (ALITA) and board member and founding Regtech Committee co-chair of Fintech Association of Hong Kong, and organized Hong Kong’s first legal hackathon for Global Legal Hackathon.
Brian spent nearly 20 years at Credit Suisse (Hong Kong), Sullivan & Cromwell (New York) and Mallesons (Perth), where he advised on some of the world’s largest and first-ever capital markets and M&A deals, and project and micro financings.
