The programme comprises presentations by WongPartnership and Luminance about the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and other legal technology tools in the legal industry, a breakout discussion segment for participants to explore opportunities for improvement in their document review workflows, and a panel conversation discussing the firm’s journey in the adoption of legal technology such as Luminance and other tools.
In-house legal teams will gain a broad overview of the areas of practice where legal technology tools are emerging, insight into how AI and other legal technology tools can empower workflow and how legal innovation efforts can help to reduce costs and increase operational efficiencies.

Clementine Fox

Luminance
Clementine is Head of Account Management at Luminance, the artificial intelligence platform for the legal profession. She is responsible for managing and overseeing Luminance clients across the globe, as well as leading adoption and strategic planning for implementation of the platform.
She was admitted as a solicitor (not currently practicing) in the Supreme Court of Queensland, Australia in 2016. Prior to joining Luminance, Clementine worked as an analyst at the Australian Department of Defence. She has also completed a secondment to the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
Thomas Chuang

Thomas is a Legal Product Expert in the Singapore office of Luminance, the leading artificial intelligence platform for the legal profession. He started his career practicing as a commercial litigation associate before joining the business development team at an international law firm, where he supported business development and marketing activities throughout Southeast Asia. He now works with firms and corporates across the Asia-Pacific region to implement and roll out Luminance’s artificial intelligence and machine learning technology across various teams.

Lam Chung Nian heads the IP/TMT practice at WongPartnership LLP. On the technology front, he has extensive experience representing clients across various industries advising on technology, cybersecurity, cloud computing, fintech, data protection projects. He is also part of the team spearheading the various legal technology initiatives undertaken by the firm.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and has been appointed as an IP Adjudicator at the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) as well as to various IP panels by the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) and the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC).
He is also the Co-Chair of the International Bar Association's Communications Law Committee, and the Vice President of the Asian Patent Attorney Association (Singapore Chapter).
