Content

The COVID-19 pandemic has been a turning point for the way organizations and management view their workplaces. The pandemic induced lockdowns have been a ‘crash course’ for organizations to manage their operations remotely and to test their business continuity plans. Though Work from Home is not a new concept, COVID 19 has initiated a serious discussion and debate on viability of operating a company with minimal physical office space.

The focus of the webinar session would be to discuss the need for a robust legal framework to address issues that may arise as Work from Home becomes the new normal. This would include a discussion on relevant aspects / changes that may be required in:

  • Regulatory aspects including SEZs/STPI regulations and Telecom regulations;
  • Employment laws;
  • Data privacy;
  • Relevant tax issues; and
  • Other challenges.
